On November 10th, Sesame Street turns 40!

I know, they don't look that old, do they?

Anyway, to celebrate the anniversary, any time you head on over to Google from now until November 10th you'll see some original "Google doodles", photographic rendering of the Muppets from Sesame Street featuring the Google logo on the Google home page.
You may have seen Google doodles before, as they've been creating them since 1998 to commemorate famous birthdays or national holidays.

Clicking on the Sesame Street doodle will bring up search results for “Sesame Street.” Google users will be able to link to the series’ popular website,, which, if you are unfamiliar with the site, features games and videos for kids and content for parents.

Through the anniversary, the site will also include content that celebrates the premiere of the show's 40th season.
