Moms: Feel free to print up this post and "accidentally" leave it lying around the house. Sometimes the family needs a little reminder. Or treat yourself or your own Mom to something special (because cool Grandmas rule, too!).

Again from Babycentral.com comes two great gift ideas, each one a gift that Mom will treasure for years.
Baby of Mine: a journal of her baby's first year, lets Mom chronicle all those important "firsts" like that very first tooth. The title makes us think of the sweetest, saddest scene from Dumbo, when a chained-up Mama elephant sings to her little elephant dude.
There's also Between Me and You, Mom: a journal written by the kids, sharing their love for Mom through the written word (if that one won't tear you up, nothing will!). A great way to connect with the kids and share some quiet time together for Mother's Day without breaking the budget, either of these journals make a lovely gift for any Mom
Note: Cool Mom's Rule DID NOT receive any commissions from these companies or products! These are simply some of our own personal favorite gift ideas for Moms (including ourselves!). ~Viv
