We had been told that this area of the Grand Tetons was the "Moose Salad Bowl," so we were tickled pink to see our very first moose not even 5 minutes into the drive.
As you can tell from the lack of antlers, this was a girl moose.
Unfortunately, our first moose was also our last and only moose.
But we saw plenty of other wildlife!
